Let the Merriment Commence!

I FINALLY finished my last paper of the semester yesterday, and am sooo happy that I can finally enjoy the Holidays!  Now I have only a weekend to do all my Christmas shopping, so it's going to be quite a frenzy!  I also have to hand-make about a dozen cards and send them off to friends around the world and start making my brother's present.  My brother got married last may, so I thought it would be nice to make a scrapbook kit for him and his wife for Christmas.  I'm painting the cover and decorating the pages, leaving room for them to add pictures of occasions from the past and the future.

I'm also super excited for next Tuesday because I'm flying down south to Florida! I'm so excited to see my brother, my friends, and my former home state!  One of my friends (KMT) from Orlando is going to be joining my family at the condo in Fort Lauderdale, so I'm super glad to have some company.  KMT and I skyped last night to start making plans:
We're heading to Key West for two days.  I'm super excited, because I've never been!  I'm a little dorky, but I'm excited to be able to take a picture at the southernmost point of the US.  Does any one have any great things I should visit in Key West?

We're going to catch some rays on the beach in Miami

Enjoy some grub on Espanolaway

Explore the Art Deco architecture of South Beach

Play some minigolf at Fantasia Gardens in Disney World

Grab some Butterbeer at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Roadtrip from Miami up to Orlando. It's only about a five hour drive, but there will be plenty of time for happy roadrip music!

I'm so excited to go and am looking forward to packing a Lilly-filled suitcase for the trip!

xoxo,

New AMAZING Stationery Find: Paperless Post

While Emily Post may not fully approve of electronic Thank You cards, Paperless Post has taken e-cards to a classically new level.  I don't even remember how I discovered this site, but I'm so glad I did!  The designs are amazing! They look very much like what Crane products would look like if they ever went electronic.  The graphics are very crisp, the designs classic, and best of all, you can completely personalize EVERY aspect of your card.  You can even send your card in an envelop, with its own personal liner.  I had so much fun making cards: You can also make invitations and such! It's so much fun to play away with the custom features! xoxo,

Nothing Plain about Kenneth Jay Lane

Looking to add a touch of the whimsy, glamor, and elegance of Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry but don't want to pay net-a-porter prices? Then look no further than etsy!  Etsy truly has some incredible finds (including a vintage Dior sailboat scarf for $4.99! ), and its selection of Kenneth Jay Lane vintage jewelry is wonderful! Here are some of my favorites. (1)  starfish pendant  $33, (2) lion head door knocker earrings $23, (3) faux pearl floral necklace $55,  (4) Jackie Kennedy faux pearl necklace $150, (5) runway necklace $200 , (6) circus elephant pin $125 xoxo,
