DC Bound

It's been over 15 years since I've been to the Capital, so I am super excited for my return on Wednesday!!!

I'm very fortunate to be crossing the border for a non-profit conference for a bit of career development (gotta love how conferences count as education)!  I'm looking forward to learning practical tips from industry insiders, hearing inspirational stories about groundbreaking campaigns, and meeting other people who have a passion for making a difference.

I'll also be visiting one of my oldest and dearest friends from Orlando (and she so kindly offered me her couch for the duration of my stay).  She finally made the big move out of the Sunshine State to DC and has been living the big city life ever since!  I'm utterly delighted to catch up with an old bestie, get a tour of her favorite places, and wander the streets of Georgetown (with a must-needed trip to Kennedy hotspots...)!

Cobbled streets, famous monuments, and stories to keep me inspired for the next year ahead..... here I come!

If you have any must-sees or must-dos, please share!

xoxo,

New AMAZING Stationery Find: Paperless Post

While Emily Post may not fully approve of electronic Thank You cards, Paperless Post has taken e-cards to a classically new level.  I don't even remember how I discovered this site, but I'm so glad I did!  The designs are amazing! They look very much like what Crane products would look like if they ever went electronic.  The graphics are very crisp, the designs classic, and best of all, you can completely personalize EVERY aspect of your card.  You can even send your card in an envelop, with its own personal liner.  I had so much fun making cards: You can also make invitations and such! It's so much fun to play away with the custom features! xoxo,

Nothing Plain about Kenneth Jay Lane

Looking to add a touch of the whimsy, glamor, and elegance of Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry but don't want to pay net-a-porter prices? Then look no further than etsy!  Etsy truly has some incredible finds (including a vintage Dior sailboat scarf for $4.99! ), and its selection of Kenneth Jay Lane vintage jewelry is wonderful! Here are some of my favorites. (1)  starfish pendant  $33, (2) lion head door knocker earrings $23, (3) faux pearl floral necklace $55,  (4) Jackie Kennedy faux pearl necklace $150, (5) runway necklace $200 , (6) circus elephant pin $125 xoxo,
