Funny Face Inspired

Somehow the first month of 2013 has already come and gone and we find ourselves breaking resolutions (my personal resolution to kick my coffee habit was quickly broken....), longing for the brighter and warmer days of spring (how dreadfully teasing it is to see all the spring lines out in stores), and making plans for Valentine's Day (or not...).

Funny Face is one of my favorite movies.  With its incredibly vivid colors, demand that we all "think pink," and Audrey Hepburn at her ballerina best, it's a constant source of inspiration (and perfectly appropriate around Valentine's Day):

Cashmere Sweater: Joe Fresh | Skirt: Vintage Chanel | Pink Everly Suede Heels: J Crew | Estate Garden Earrings: Kate Spade | Estate Garden Necklace: Kate Spade | Bow Chain Bracelet: Juicy Couture | Frame Purse: Vintage | Funny Face Lipstick: Nars

Here's to thinking pink in February!

New AMAZING Stationery Find: Paperless Post

While Emily Post may not fully approve of electronic Thank You cards, Paperless Post has taken e-cards to a classically new level.  I don't even remember how I discovered this site, but I'm so glad I did!  The designs are amazing! They look very much like what Crane products would look like if they ever went electronic.  The graphics are very crisp, the designs classic, and best of all, you can completely personalize EVERY aspect of your card.  You can even send your card in an envelop, with its own personal liner.  I had so much fun making cards: You can also make invitations and such! It's so much fun to play away with the custom features! xoxo,

Nothing Plain about Kenneth Jay Lane

Looking to add a touch of the whimsy, glamor, and elegance of Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry but don't want to pay net-a-porter prices? Then look no further than etsy!  Etsy truly has some incredible finds (including a vintage Dior sailboat scarf for $4.99! ), and its selection of Kenneth Jay Lane vintage jewelry is wonderful! Here are some of my favorites. (1)  starfish pendant  $33, (2) lion head door knocker earrings $23, (3) faux pearl floral necklace $55,  (4) Jackie Kennedy faux pearl necklace $150, (5) runway necklace $200 , (6) circus elephant pin $125 xoxo,
